There has to be housing for people with no credit, evictions, or prison records. We can't have them all over the streets and struggling desperately. The state should build housing for them and at a rate that they can pay. If anyone complains about having it in their neighborhood, the state has to claim eminent domain and just do it anyway. This is a societal problem. This many people are not just causing their own problems. These extended stay places are expensive. How long can they keep up living there? Medical debt should be written off. Have they looked into that? If you are sick, you are better off staying away from hospitals and at least you will have a roof over your head.
